The Band Room/The Trails

The Band Room

So when i usually go to the band room, it's a group of people who'e age can range from 18 to 25. Usually it's a 4-1 guy-girl ratio, it's always night time, and there is always beer. Loud music and a whole lot of laughing fill the small space. There are usually few reasons to leave the band room apart from having to use the restroom or spew. When people say "I'm hangin in the band room.", that's code for party. But last week when i met up with Doug it was daylight and i could see everything. My friends were not surrounding me with cut off jean vests and keystone ice. No one was wasted. I pulled up to the band room and i saw Doug and another man who looked about his age. they were standing infront of the band room. I got out to greet and mett. As i was anticipating going into my beloved party haven, we just kept a stance outside, talking. A few more fellas pulled up . The three mean were members of the S.I.J.A. who also lived in waterloo. It seemed like the only time these guys were in the band room was when they were getting a beer. Which i would have liked to of spent more time in the band room, but i remembered the Jeeps were outside. So really, to them, the band room is just more of a meeting destination.

The Trails:

Four of us decided it was a good idea to go visit the trails. The guys wanted me to get a little glimpse of what they do in their Jeeps. Out past maeystown, one of the guys owns like 15 acres i think. They pretty much customized some trails that include different terrains. I did not see all of the trails, this was more like a drive by. We werent even driving a jeep. We definately will be going back. We jsut did not have plans to go out on the trails, so no one was really prepared.
